How do I participate?

To take part, you can register on the Challenge website. There are three possible registration options:

  • Join an existing team
  • Create your own team
  • Participate individually

Do donors receive an official receipt for their donation?

Yes, all donations made on the Bonneau Moves Challenge fundraising platform are eligible for an official tax receipt. Donors will receive an official tax receipt by e-mail within 24 hours of their donation.

How long does the Challenge last?

Participants can complete their race objective at any time between September 1 and 30, 2023.

Who can participate in the Challenge?

Anyone can take part in the Challenge, whether you’re an individual, a company, a school or any other entity interested in the cause.

How can I support a participant or a team?

To support a participant or team, you can access the participant’s/team’s page via the link provided and make an online donation. Alternatively, you can search for the participant/team on the fundraising platform (https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/peer-to-peer/ce432692-d7e4-421e-88c2-141e85d441db).

How can I create a fundraising page?

To create your own fundraising page, go to the Challenge’s dedicated website (https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/peer-to-peer/ce432692-d7e4-421e-88c2-141e85d441db) and follow the instructions to add yourself to a team, create one or participate individually. You’ll be able to add a photo and your fundraising goal, and then share the page with your friends and family to raise funds.

How do I share my fundraising page?

To share your fundraising page, go to your personal page and select the desired sharing option (bottom right). You can share your page via social networks, e-mail or simply by copying the link.

What's the deadline for registering for the Challenge?

The registration deadline will be September 30, as the Challenge runs from September 1 to 30, 2023. It’s advisable to register as soon as possible on the fundraising platform to ensure you have enough time to share your participation with your friends and family and collect donations.

Do I have to raise funds to participate?

Since the Challenge is a fundraising event, you’ll need to set a fundraising goal on the platform. You can share your participant/team page with friends, colleagues and family to help you reach your goal. The important thing is to set a reasonable, realistic goal and do your best to reach it.

Can I participate individually?

If you’re not part of a team, you can participate as an individual by registering on the Challenge website. Click on “Collect donations for the campaign”, then select “Personal fundraising” and complete the required fields such as fundraising objective, e-mail address, first name and surname. Once registered, you’ll be able to share your personal page with your network.

How can I create a new team?

If you’re the team representative, go to the Challenge website and click on “Collect campaign donations”. Then click on “Create a team” and fill in the required fields, such as team name, fundraising objective, e-mail address, first name and last name. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to share your team page with your network.

If you wish to join the team directly, it’s important to tick (in the bottom left-hand corner) “I’m joining this team”.

If you don’t want to join the team, but simply want to be the team representative, it’s important to untick (in the bottom left-hand corner) “I’m joining this team”.

How can I join an existing team?

If you’d like to join an existing team, go to the dedicated Challenge site and click on “Collect campaign donations”. Then select “Join a team”, choose your team and complete the required fields such as fundraising objective, e-mail address, first and last name. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to share your team page and your own personal page with your network.
